Inhabited Wall

______

The project started with a doodle and moved to drawing and material experimentation with
plaster, wax, salt, folded books and plywood. Some of the experiments were tested on
people, which resulted in a series of bricks or blocks, which were then assembled to create
the finished project.

This project has been developed and arranged by the medina wall, in Marrakech, using the
blocks of different scales to create an inhabited wall which will be a school, a fire station
and a lighthouse. Each block was chosen by chance and that’s how the construction started.
